Week of September 26

Please make sure Chapter 3 and 4 are emailed to me by Midnight Friday, September 30.

Your Word project (test grade) is due at the end of class on October 4.

Please take any word document, save it and create a copy of it (For instance, Parker 1 is first document and I save another copy as Parker 2). In the SECOND document, please do the following things:

1. Change line spacing and font
2. Move and copy text within a document
3. Use find and replace
4. Check spelling and grammar
5. Insert an object (table, smart Art, picture, etc)
6. Header and footer.

You will send BOTH documents to me.

This is easy - don't stress. My goal is for everyone to pass with an A and succeed!

Clarification

I have had multiple questions on this so I will clarify:

Chapter 3 and 4 will be due by midnight, Friday, September 29. You will turn in your Word project at the beginning of class on October 4 (via email).

Do NOT stress. Everything is going to be ok.

Assignments

Ok guys, here is the plan. If you have a book and feel comfortable with it, please go ahead and do pages 102-121. You will need the four Botanical files that you have on you CD or jump drive. On Tuesday, we will do in class pages 102-121 and 136-155. This will make sure that you have the skills necessary to do well on the test. If you feel you can do this assignment on your own, you do not need to be in class. If you feel you would like the additional help, please attend.

I should have all papers graded by the weekend. So far, everyone is doing wonderful. Text or email if you have any questions.

Class Tonight is Cancelled

I will not be able to attend class tonight - I am stuck in Dallas. I will
email out instructions as soon as I get home. I just wanted to make sure
you had this information as soon as possible.

Y'all are all doing a phenomenal job! I am so happy with the progress you
are making.

I would like to ask that if you have suggestions for the format for this
course to please reply only to me and let me know. You will not offend me
in any way. I want this class to be productive and useful for YOU! I will
email the files and directions that you need for this week tonight or
tomorrow.

I so appreciate your understanding. I will also send a text so I hope this
covers everyone!

Week of September 13

Tonight we will do chapter 2 of Word. Everyone did a great job on last week's assignments. Please email me the assignments from Chapter 2. I will provide a grade for you next week combining both chapters.
